Microgreens Care Guide

Thanks for your Valley Microgreens purchase! We want you to get the most out of your "Living" Microgreens, so we wrote this quick care guide for you. If you follow a few simple instructions on how to take care of your microgreens, you can expect a 6-9 days shelf life or more.

You can store your microgreens in two ways:

  1. On your kitchen countertop - Please make sure the microgreens container is open to let it breathe. Once every 2 days, check to see if the growing material is still moist. If not, add a little bit of water to the container.

  2. In your refrigerator - Once every 3-4 days, remove the microgreens from the fridge and inspect them. If the growing material seems dry and the microgreens are a bit wilty then they need to be watered. When stored in the refrigerator, it's normal to see condensation on the leaves. If you see too much water on the leaves, we recommend putting them on your counter instead. Too much moisture can lead to premature spoilage.

Remember… Do not top water your microgreens. They drink from their roots. Instead just pour some water into the growing material or container itself.
